Safety Training

Snowmobile Safety Training Courses

Anyone born on or after January 1, 1989 in Saskatchewan is required by law to complete a Snowmobile Safety Course. Without it, you may be charged and your insurance may be invalid.

You have two options of study available to you; online or in person. The in-person, classroom style training, is a single six (6) hour class. Online training is done through an online account and allows you to work at your own pace, logging in and out as you please, but lacks the direct support a certified safety instructor can provide.

Which is right for me?

If you prefer a self-paced, self-lead approach or already have plenty of snowmobile experience, the online course is the more efficient option. However, if you are a hands-on learner or someone who likes to ask questions, then the in-person classroom course may be best. Below you can find a more in-depth look at our snowmobile training course options.

Classroom

We offer Classroom Training at various locations throughout the province. Our certified snowmobile instructors will prepare the novice snowmobile rider with the safety information they need in a six (6) hour class. These courses often involve static outdoor demonstrations, so proper winter clothing is required. Lunch may or may not be supplied; view your courses details to learn more or contact our office: 306-729-3509

The fee is $50 per student. Participants must be 12 years old on the date of the class to attend.
